A Few of My Favorite Things

Grrr, I did all of this earlier today and lost it! I don't feel like re-doing it so this post won't be as good but here goes....

In this photo Halle is running away from me to the "safety" of Chloe who is obviously on the potty.
Chloe's silly face and cute piggy tails.
Tulips I painted last night while the rest of the family was watching Deal or No Deal. I'm ashamed to admit it but we like that show. This week I'm getting some actual artist paint, paint brushes, and paper. I got a new book and I'm really excited about it.

My two favorite scrapbook pages- so far. And I found water color and paper that are acid free so I think I can paint my own background pages for scrapbooking- very exciting.

Really, that's all I feel like doing now. It was a good post and it took me a while to finish it so you will all have to wait to find out things that I like. It's killing you isn't it? I didn't think so.

And now that I look at this post on my blog the format is all messed up. Grrr...

Wow, that is so cool. I love that you are so into the painting and scrapbooking and I can't wait to see what you do next. Is this the same Amy? I like the tulips and I think your pages in the scrapbook are really showing some class and...I like Chloe's pigtails a lot! Sorry your first post was lost.

Amy, I am so excited for you! Of course, I'd be happy for anyone getting all touchy-feely with their creative side, but truly, I think you've hit a part of yourself that you weren't aware God put in you until now. That's that happy, fun part about it...realizing that God never ceases to be an amazing Creator. Each time we unearth a new piece of who we are, it is proof of how detailed and intricately we were made. Not boring and limited- but interesting and full of depth!

And may I add, I LOVE the scrapbook pages. They look really well planned and yet simple enough to keep the focus on the pictures. I can't wait to see more.

Amy, I am SO PROUD of you! You know me and scrapbooking--if you do two pages, I think you've painted a masterpiece (forgive the intended pun!) I, too have always wanted to paint...mostly china and glass, things like that. I've been wanting to take a class for the longest time! There's something about using your hands and thoughts to create something,
whether it's sewing, painting or scrapbooking that is so satisfying! And, (here goes my commercial) you have a little bit of "you" to pass down to your children and grandchildren.....
