Guess What I'm Doing Today

Do you see it? I know you see the dust but do you see the cobweb that some little spider has attached from the picture frame to the piano? I noticed it yesterday and Travis pointed it out last night. It looks like what you might see in a house that's been abandoned for ages but I assure you my house is not abandoned. And it's not like I don't dust because I do. It's not on my mind all the time but I hate dust and so does my nose so anytime I see dust I get rid of it. I know people that say they hate to dust but as chores go it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is having dust- and now cobwebs. So here's a picture of my not perfect life and a cobweb that's about to meet it's maker. I hope you enjoyed it and that it makes you all feel a little bit better about your dust and cobwebs.

Huh. I don't *hate* to dust. The action, itself, anyway. I do rarely dust, though, simply because it feels like an "extra". If I get bathrooms clean and stay on top of the dishes and laundry, I feel good. Pathetic, no? I have plans to improve this and to delegate more but so far it is what it is. Do NOT feel bad. :-)

Hee hee. My house is ten times worse, I assure you!

I only get upset when I see them in some obvious place after company has left. I don't wear my glasses or contacts around the house most of the time so I miss a few things like that.

It does make me feel better. I've had a house full of company for four days, so I cleaned before they came. However, as we were eating breakfast this morning, I looked up at the chandelier over the kitchen table and realized there was a long cobweb hanging down from it. Yikes! How embarrassing. So, note to self, when dusting the house, don't forget the light fixtures! -Julia :-)

LOL! I'm glad that I'm not the only one that happens to. :)
