Travis found the USB cable last night (I know you were all waiting eagerly for that :) so I am finally able to post some pics. I don't have time to go into a lot this morning but these are pics of the ugly kitchen, the ugly vinyl in the kitchen, the ugly bathroom, and the girls playing in the leaves in the front yard. 
The kitchen needs lots of work but at least it's big. I'll take some pics of the island and post those later.

Leaves! In your very own front yard!!! The kitchen will be fabulous. And isn't it encouraging that the kitchen looks way better now? So much wallpaper is gone, and you've got your beautiful island. You'll have it ship-shape before long.
I am amazed at how different it looks without boxes. I haven't been down in a while...like since you moved in. Hopefully we can free up a day to make a much needed Button visit.
Well, I didn't mean to make the post negative. I'm truly thankful for our yard and the leaves and the house. I feel much more relaxed now than I have in the last 7 years.
Mary, come down anytime. You haven't seen the island yet. I want to take pictures but we have so many things that we don't have places for I can't get a good angle to take a picture w/o the mess. I'm going to have to get rid of some more stuff.
